About

Hey y’all!   Welcome to my corner of the world.  I’m glad you stopped by for a visit.

So, this is where I’m supposed to tell you a little about myself and this blog.  Ok, here goes.

My name is Ginger Moore.  I’m a Christian woman, a wife, a mom, a business owner & CEO, the Indie Beauty Network (IBN) Local Director for Chattanooga, TN and a home education teacher (to some that means a homeschooler).  For about 15 years, I’ve also spent a good deal of time ministering and counseling with others. Oh, and I’m southern born and bred.  Does that about cover it?

The At Home Woman

Through the years, I’ve seen many labels to describe a mom or wife that doesn’t work outside the home.  Stay at home mom. Work at home mom. Stay at home wife. Work at home wife. None of them ever seemed to fit me or even feel right when others applied them to me.  I’m more than a mom and more than a wife.  I didn’t like the box that people wanted to fit me into.  So I came up with my own label and am branding it.

I am  “the at home woman”.  As a wife and mother, I stay “at home”.  I started  Neos Creations Skin Care, my handcrafted cosmetics company, and operate it “at home”.  I’m schooling my only child “at home”.  I handle many of my IBN Local Director things “at home”.  When needed, I minister/counsel  “at home”.  And now, I’m “at home” with the at home woman.

It’s where my heart is

My world is centered around all the roles, or as I call them, seats that I sit in “at home”. Yep, I have a wife seat, a mom seat, a teacher’s seat, a CEO seat, a business owner’s seat, a director’s seat, a ministry seat and now, this new seat as The At Home Woman.  Home really is where my heart is.  It’s where I thrive. And you know what?  I like the seats I sit in.

So……..

I started this blog to share my “at home” experiences. I really want to share and get real about being an at home woman.  I’ve been accused of being “wordy” so this is a perfect way for me to get the words out.  Where this new seat will take me, I don’t know. But I like it so far.

I hope you will be blessed with my ramblings.  Please subscribe and come back often to visit.  Share this blog with others.  Maybe something I share will help someone (maybe even you) along the way.

Comment.  Share your thoughts and experiences. Become active in the At Home Woman community. It doesn’t matter if you’re at home full time or part time. If you are at home any of the time, you have at home tales to tell.

You can follow the RSS feed by clicking the orange RSS Feed button at the top of the pages.  Don’t ask me what RSS feeds are, ’cause I don’t have a clue. I just know many like it, so I offer it. Yep, even though I have an online business, am active on socials and have been working with computers for many years, I’m tech challenged to a large degree. Just when I figure something out, it changes and I have to learn it all over again.  But I am learning! 🙂
