Monthly Archives: January 2013
The United States is in a very difficult and disjoined condition right now. The division that has come to light in recent times is astounding. I cannot recall there ever being this much confusion and distress. My spirit grieves for the things we see happening during this time in history.
Fear, control, and disunity seem to abound. Morality and integrity has been dwindling for decades. Personal agendas, greed and lust for power seem to be the order of the day, including in our leadership and government. Selfishness and perversion of truth is everywhere. There is so much blindness and deafness to the realities of what is happening, where its happening and why its happening, not to mention the who and the how of it all. Common sense seems to have been replaced with denial of reality and twisted intellectualism that makes no sense at all. It looks like trust, hope and freedom are disappearing faster than you can microwave a cup of coffee. And worst of all, our leaders and our people seem to have forgotten that we are one nation, under God, indivisable with liberty and justice for all.
Our land is wounded, bleeding and yes, by every outward appearance, it’s dying. But there is hope.
“If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” -2 Chronicles 7:14
.Mike Huckabee, a man of God whom I greatly respect, is inviting everyone, from every denomination, walk of life and corner of America to A Day To Pray on January 20, 2013. This is a spiritual event being held where you are, not a destination event or political rally.
Mike Huckabee writes: January 20th is “A Day to Pray“
“Join me for “A Day to Pray”, where we will ask God to grant our leaders, from the local school houses to the White House, the wisdom they need for the road ahead. We will gather to ask God for forgiveness and healing of our land and to bless our Country and her people. This will not be a political rally but a spiritual event and hopefully one that can help bring us together as we move forward as a nation”. -Mike Huckabee
No man has the answer for the hope and healing our nation needs. Only the one true living God can give the wisdom needed in this trying time. Only He can restore, bless and anoint the United States and bring healing, peace and Godly unity within our borders.
Will you join hundreds of thousands (make that millions) of people in this spiritual event that will raise a standard of excellence, bringing forth light and truth to this ever darkening time? It’s time for a spiritual awakening and revolution in this country. It’s time for truth to abound. It’s time to humble ourselves before a mighty God, surrender ourselves to His will and earnestly submit to His authority. It’s time for God, who is Wisdom and Love to rule.
Visit the A Day To Pray event page on Facebook and accept this invitation to stand in prayer before our awesome, loving and merciful God……for ourselves, our leaders and our county. There is power in agreement. There is power in prayer. There is power in faith, truth and humble submission to the one true God, Jehovah, ruler of all nations.
Won’t you please release that power and agree with God and His word and perfect will for America? Because in reality, our life as individuals and as a nation DO depend on it.

I can relate! Oh how I can relate! I have been broken so many times during my walk with Jesus Christ. The woman you see today is not the woman that was 25 years ago or even 5 years ago. I’m most definitely not the young girl that was being abused, despised and mistreated. I’ve come a long way, baby!
Brokenness is not a bad thing. In fact, there is beauty in brokenness. You see, when we allow our loving Lord and Savior to break the things in us that are dulled, unfinished, unreadable, unusable by Him or that simply don’t fit, it means we get sharpened so the rest of the story can be written as it should be.
The details of everyone’s story were planned out long ago. The storyline was laid out long before the story ever began. Every page and every word, takes our story either toward or away from that plan and storyline.
Sometimes…ok, very often….the story needs editing and a re-write needs to be done. It’s necessary for the good of the story. For the good of our story. For the good of us. For the good of those around us.
Our Father God loves us so much that He’s more than willing to re-write the words that have been written in our souls by people and experiences in our life. We carry a lot of junk around, often more than we know. That is just a simple truth.
We should always be willing to be broken and sharpened so that our story gets written as it was intended to be by the author and finisher of our faith. Because like it or not, there are people reading that story. And that helps write their story.
Love & Blessings!
